Life
- Live a good, honorable life. When you are older and look back, you'll be comfortable with it.
- Once a year, go someplace you've never been before.
- Responsibility for all your actions. You are not a victim.
- Not getting what you want may be a stroke of luck.
- Know the rules. Then you can knowingly break them when necessary.
- Approach love and cooking with reckless abandon.
- The best relationship is one in which your love for each other exceeds your need for each other.
- Spend some time alone every day.
- Be open to change. Never compromise your integrity.
- In disagreements with loved ones, deal only with the current situation. Don't bring up the past.
- Share your knowledge.

Humane Lobster Treatment
If one wants to humanely put a lobstah to rest, one must trick it. The simplest way to do so, in accordance with established lobstering techniques, is to paint the critter orange before cooking. Poor things have little or no brain, so when they see they're orange, they fall over, dead as a doornail. Plop 'em in the water then as usual, left claw first.
